Hi Nham
Thank you for your email. Yes, Fran and I both agree that the whole holiday was even better than we'd expected and will certainly recommend Green Trail Tours to any friends who intend going to Vietnam. All the tour guides were excellent and made us feel very well looked after. Luckily we only had one day's rain and that was in Sapa, but we still went out walking with our guide 'Gom'. Sapa was just a perfect end to a wonderful holiday. Even the train trip was great. I certainly hope to come back again. Now, there is something you can help me with:
I teach English here in China and I was most impressed with Gom's grasp of English, considering she hasn't had any formal training. She is keen to improve her knowledge of English, especially grammar, but access to books is a problem for her. I would love to send her some books from here, but they are written for the Chinese. Do you know of any good textbooks that are popular in Vietnam for learning English? I would be happy to pay for the cost of purchase and postage to her if you can help. If you don't know of any books, perhaps 'David' our guide in HoChiMinh could help as he has done a lot of language study.
Only other thing - don't suppose the Hoi An Riverside Resort & Spa have found my shoes? That was quite amazing - I wore them while I was there - so know I had them out, but couldn't find them when I went to pack. They had to be in the room or else taken from it. Anyway, if they turn up I know you will contact me. Once again many thanks. No rush on the books for Gom, but I would like to help her, she is such a capable and sensible girl.
Regards

Dear Mr Van Dung
We have arrived in Australia, on our way back to South Africa. I want to say that we had a superb, wonderful trip. Almost everything was perfect. thank you very much. I want to say special thanks to our guide, Binh, who was an absolutely wonderful person. His arrangements, courtesy and friendliness' were perfect. I want to thank him especially for helping us when our flight was cancelled.
So, to answer your question, we loved Vietnam, thanks to your company. We are telling all our friends how wonderful you were, and recommending you for their holidays.
warm regards

Dear Ms. Nham,
We're back in California after a very long flight from Ho Chi Minh City to San Francisco. My family and I truly enjoyed our tour through Vietnam! All of the cities we visited were interesting and unique in its own way. We learned a lot about the history, life, and culture of Vietnam from the very knowledgeable tour guides. All 3 guides were very passionate about the cities they guided us through, with experience ranging from 6 months to many years of experience. For the most part, we enjoyed the meals that were included. In Hanoi, we were surprised that many dishes were fried. The seafood on the junk in Halong Bay was quite impressive and delicious. The royal dinner in Hue was fine. Wearing the traditional dress didn't go over very well with everyone since it was hot and uncomfortable. Regardless, it added to the atmosphere of the evening and made for nice pictures. It was a nice change of pace going to Hue and Hoi An, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic. We enjoyed walking the streets in ancient Hoi An, shopping along the way and buying the wares of the area. The traffic in Ho Chi Minh City was unbelievable, so many motor bikes. Everything worked out fine, however the Duxton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City did not have 3 non smoking rooms for us, just 1. The other 2 rooms were refreshed only, whidh ended up being fine. We could not smell the smoke. The accommodations, spa, and food made up for the rooms. The van in Ho Chi Minh City could have been a little more comfortable and we could have used a rest stop on the way to the Cao Dai Temple.
It was a pleasure to meet you after many email messages and Skype chats. As I sit here writing this message, I am watching the Miss Universe show being televised from Vietnam and my husband reviewing the pictures we took while on travel. Thank you again for arranging our tour and helping to make our visit to Vietnam memorable.
Regards
