RIDING PROFILE
We ride approximately 135 km on roads that are tarmac or broken tarmac. There are no real technical sections and this trip can be completed by most people.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1 Siem Reap 30 km [L]
Arrive or meet in Siem Reap on morning flight and transfer to hotel. Afternoon ride to Angkor, Angkor Thom, the South Gate, the Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. After picnic lunch cycle to Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo and back to Siem Reap. Return by car to see at sunset from Phnom Bakheng.
Day 2 Siem Reap 60 km [B,L]
Cycle to Banteay Srei, 25km away, on a newly paved road. Continue to Kbal Spean (River of 1,000 Lingas), hiking to the top to view the riverbed carvings. After picnic lunch, return to Siem Reap via Banteay Samre Temple.
Day 3 Siem Reap 45 km [B, L]
Ride to Tonle Sap Lake. Take short cruise through floating villages. Lunch at floating village. On the return ride, stop at workshops of Artisans d’Angkor (wood and stone carving). AND/OR visit Landmine Museum of Mr.
