Morning drive to Cuc Phuong National Park 160km south of Hanoi. Visit the Park Museum, the Botanical Garden, the look out and the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre.

Drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Check in to a local guesthouse. In the afternoon, proceed to the Ben Cu area to bird watch. View old-growth forest and the rapids at Thac Troi and Thac Dung. Walk back to guesthouse in late afternoon.

Located in Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc provinces, in the lowlands of southern Vietnam, far from Sai Gon 180 km, Cat Tien National Park is one of the top birding site in Vietnam. The topography of the site is characterised by a flat plain in the west, and low, gentle hills in the east.
Route: Orange-necked Partridge, Germain's Peacock Pheasant, Grey-faced Tit Babbler, Green Peafowl, Siamese Fireback, Wreathed Hornbill, Great Hornbill and Bar-bellied Pitta.

Orange - necked Partridge (Arborophila davidi), an endemic species to Vietnam, this species was listed as Endangered category in IUCN redlist. Although distribution range of this species covers Binh Phuoc - Dong Nai and a part of Lam Dong province but nowhere we are easy to find them, except Tan Phu forest enterprise.

Yok Don National Park is located in the Mekong basin, in western Dak Lak Province far from Ho Chi Minh city 350km and Buon Me Thuot city 60km. The landscape of Yok Don consists principally of dry dipterocarp forest with semi-evergreen forest along watercourses and patches of evergreen forest, as on Yok Don hill

from Ho Chi Minh city, is located in Tam Nong district, Dong Thap province, where it supports one of the last remnants 7,612 ha of the Plain of Reeds wetland ecosystem, which previously covered some 700,000 ha of Dong Thap, Long An and Tien Giang provinces.

Pickup you at your hotel in early morning, then we will drive northwards from Saigon to Cat Tien National Park, stopping en route for anything of interest. We should stop at Tan Phu Forest Enterprise Special Use where we can find an endemic of Orange - necked Partridge. Lunch at a restaurant nearby there, and will continue to drive to Cat Tien.
