Breakfast and drive to Kenga village. Nestled in the corner of limestone formation Kenhga village is where you can have taste of rural life of Vietnamese people in the Red River Delta.

After breakfast we depart Hanoi for Pu Luong Natural Reserve. This scenic drive takes around four hours. Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies.

The train journey arrives in Laocai this morning. We embark on a scenic drive uphill to SaPa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sa Pa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in plain became unbearable.

The journey northeast begins as we depart the town and pass through the undulating terrain of tea plantation and the many timeless villages linked to the road which is the main artery of trade between the northeastern region and the capital city.

Arrive Sapa early in the morning, pick up and transfer up to Sapa. After a shower and breakfast at the hotel in Sapa, we leave Sa Pa at 9 a.m., where Russian jeeps will drive us into the valley south of Sa Pa.

Arrive Lao Cai and transfer to Sapa. Check in the Victoria Sapa for shower and breakfast. After a shower at the hotel, short briefing with local guide while having breakfast, we leave Sapa by jeep and wind our way to the end of the dirt track at Su Pan.
